Toby's Garden Festival 

Mini Workshop's 

I’m delighted to be returning to Toby’s Garden Festival in 2026, running willow weaving workshops on Friday and Saturday (morning and afternoon sessions available).

You can choose to create either a bee or a little owl. Both are beginner-friendly and perfect for adding handmade character to your garden.

Tickets are available directly through the festival website, and spaces are limited.

A really enjoyable and creative day that ended up with a sculpture to take home that far exceeded my expectations. Jo is an excellent teacher with an engaging style that kept us all motivated, especially when we were got tired from concentrating. Her knowledge of the craft and choice of materials was inspirational. The time flew by! I would recommend a session with Jo to anyone, regardless of their artistic abilities. You could surprise yourself for what you can achieve in 9 hours!

The leaping hare course was fabulous....I loved it. The tutor, Jo, was really great....explaining everything really well, offering continued support & was extremely warm and welcoming. I was surprised what can be achieved in a day. I was pleased with the outcome & would definitely recommend it.

Another terrific day willow sculpting at Walford Mill. Jo is a fantastic and engaging tutor, and made the day all the more enjoyable. Although a pig sculpting day, is arranged to sculpt a second unicorn for my granddaughters, to join the first in their garden from a previous deer/unicorn sculpting class. This class enabled me to explore some new ideas, and to learn and practice more willow working under Jo's lovely guidance.
