Willow Star Workshop (afternoon)

Create your own beautiful willow stars in this relaxed and festive workshop, guided by basket maker and tutor Tori. Suitable for complete beginners, you'll learn traditional weaving techniques to make these elegant willow decorations to display in your home or give as thoughtful handmade gifts.

Held in Mello View's beautiful hillside barn overlooking the Axe Valley, this hands-on workshop includes all materials, plus one set of warm white fairy lights for your finished star. Additional light sets are available to purchase on the day for £2 each (cash only). Most people make around three 45cm wide stars during the workshop.

To make it even more special, help yourself to mulled wine, mince pies and a selection of seasonal hot drinks throughout the workshop while you enjoy a cosy, creative escape into the timeless craft of willow weaving.

Schedule

• Arrival: From 11:45 am, where you'll be welcomed with hot drinks, mulled wine and mince pies.

• Workshop Start: 12 pm.

• Workshop End: Approximately 2:30 pm.
