Join us for an unforgettable day of willow weaving at Mello View, where you’ll create your own Flying Owl or Red Kite sculpture. Guided step-by-step by willow artist Jo Sadler, you’ll bring your chosen bird to life using locally sourced Somerset willow. Nestled in a stunning hillside barn with breathtaking views of the Axe Valley, this immersive workshop combines creativity, nature, and a delicious farm-to-fork dining experience. What’s Included: - Expert tuition and all materials provided (feel free to bring your favourite secateurs!) - Coffee and cake on arrival - A homemade, seasonal lunch - Afternoon refreshments - A peaceful and inspiring environment in the Somerset countryside What to Bring: - Old, comfortable clothing Relax, create, and leave with a beautiful handwoven sculpture inspired by nature! Dietary Requirements and Allergies: When booking, please ensure you contact us regarding any dietary requirements, such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or other preferences, and inform us of any allergies. All food will be prepared by Chef Ed, and we will pass on your information to him. If we are unable to cater to your needs, we will let you know as soon as possible. All food is seasonal and locally sourced, and the menu is set. Please Note: This course is not suitable for under 16's. Maximum 12 people per course. Willow Bark can cause serious allergic reactions in people who are sensitive to aspirin. Willow bark can also interact with certain medications, such as blood thinners, beta-blockers and acetaminophen (Tylenol).
