Service Description

Join me, Jo Sadler, at Musgrove Willows, a working willow farm in the heart of the Somerset Levels. Immerse yourself in the calming, creative process of willow sculpture, surrounded by the very fields where your materials take root. From Moongazing Hares to Deer, Pigs, Bees, and Herons, each course is carefully structured to help you craft a life-like sculpture to take home. Whether you’re new to willow weaving or already familiar with the art, I’ll guide you step-by-step, so you can feel proud with your make. 2025 Course Dates: 11th March: Moongazing Hare 23rd April: Leaping Hare 28th May: Pig 5th June: Bee or Dragonfly 9th July: Owl or Heron 10th July: Moongazing Hare 24th September: Deer 22nd October: Pigs 23rd October: Owl or Heron 7th, 8th November: Deer 6th, 7th December: Deer What to Bring: Old, comfortable clothing A pair of secateurs (optional) Bookings: Courses cannot be booked through my website. Please book directly with Musgrove Willows: https://www.musgrovewillows.co.uk/ Please Note: This course is not suitable for under 16's. Willow Bark can cause serious allergic reactions in people who are sensitive to aspirin. Willow bark can also interact with certain medications, such as blood thinners, beta-blockers and acetaminophen (Tylenol).
